It is much easier today to see that there are problems with democracy and the idea of a democratic legislature. But what are those problems? How best to understand them? Alternatives?
Thanks for this great primer on Schmitt. As a midwit, I'm sure hisbl writing is beyond my ability to decipher. He has tremendous insight into the problem of parliamentary government, too bad he was a Nazi, so that trumps any of his analysis 😉.
