Recently AA put out a series of videos where he declared himself to be against right-wing populism in order to claim the "realist" or sensible centre-left position in politics. Let's talk about this.
Great post. I wonder where AAs journey with Christianity will go. With this "centre-left" positioning, he clearly wants to separate himself from mainstream politics, but I don't think he'll find any allies on the left (and he doesn't one those on the "right"). But where does he go after exiting this frame? Your offer seems to be Christianity – and it's not political.
Yeah, it’s interesting. I am not sure. I think AA is comfortable trying to carve out a unique space for himself. The circle that he doesn’t seem to square is that “centre left” is the position that the mangers want to occupy. Is he then trying to be an expert critiquing the expert class? That is my sense of it, that it’s a critique from within.
The problem with AA's analysis is that the groups that practice ethnic nepotism are seeing a massive payoff. Only whites actually believe in meritocracy and they're losing.
I did have that thought myself. But one must clarify that. The elite managers are doing very well. It is just that they have no bond with the people they presume to govern and these groups can use the system to manipulate it in ways they would never permit from their own people...if they even consider them their own people.
I agree, I just see that as a function of the peculiar genetic profile of the original WEIRD people and their pathological altruism. It has much more to do with their own genetically induced pathological altruism rather than the inevitable reality of a choice that has to be made to prop up the system. The system could survive just fine without diversity. This ends up becoming a more sophisticated version of 'white people just won't do the jobs' or 'we just couldn't get by without our melanin enhanced friends'.
It might be an inevitable outgrowth of the ideology of modern empire, but that doesn't mean the system requires it to function. In fact, it inhibits its functioning. For the self interested, it gives them a job promoting white hatred or managing the diversity, but its only relationship to the system is a parasitic one. It's like when the CEO claims that it's really the janitors who make everything work in the company. It's a great display of false modesty, but it's not true in any meaningful or fundamental sense.
The problem is that once you begin expanding you outstrip the available high level talent globally. But at the same time you are trapped because you need the global scale to sustain the system. It’s not just as simple as downsizing to a smaller house. As Joseph Tainter argues from the past, your three outcomes are a steep and significant decline, the empire breaks apart and there is significant decline, or there is total collapse.
Much of the discourse around saving America from its own empire has the mind that once America ditches the empire, it can go back to being America. But it doesn’t work that way. It will be much more like Russia in the 90’s or worse. Or it can all just break apart…like Russia in the 90’s, but worse.
I think this gets back to a problem we both hint at in a different way. Whether it's inherent in the functioning of the collective organization itself (as AA argues and in a modified way yourself) or it is an outgrowth of the mental/biological dispositions of those who manipulate and control such a system (who's to say it's either/or?) European stock become devoted to the idea, rather than Europeans. They're venerating a document (the constitution) rather than their people. They're venerating a book (the bible) rather than their people. They're devoted to a system/(idea?), in this case 'the empire' or rather 'this peculiar inversion of an empire' we have today. This takes precedence. And the consequences are all around us.
Something which neither of us have touched on which could be a major game changer is genetic engineering. I know absolutely nothing about it. However, even though our IQ (and concomitant rate of innovations per capita) are in decline, if we can outpace that trend and continue to make discoveries, could we reach a point in the near future where (to facilitate the maintenance of the empire, as it were) the ever increasing non white majority would have access to technology developed by their european forbears/contemporary white collaborators whereby they could rig their genomes so as to be as capable as whites (or, per Beyonce, even to look like them)?
And how should we feel about that? Angry that they would be stealing our genetic legacy, as they parasitically fed off of a prosperous society created by Europeans in the past, or trying to hold in our guffaws in the great beyond, knowing that the people who claimed (as did white traitors) they was magic and superior n sheeyat, and in so doing, inadvertently proved that they had to literally become white people to own white people? Would this not indeed constitute a win, rather than a drain circling 'Camp of the Saints' death spiral?
I could see them turning to genetic engineering. It would be horrifying.
You are right about all the things we have chosen over people. Ideas. Machines. Reason. And, yes, even the Bible. That one is “sneaky” correct and I had that same thought myself yesterday. The key is articulating it so people can hear you.

But if we are to be replaced, it wouldn't bother me so much if everyone realizes that they had to transform themselves into white people and created new white people because it just wouldn't work if they remained as they are. We would go on and they would cease to be. What's not to like?

Won't happen. Probably will not EVER happen. It's insanely complex, and apart from some genetic diseases caused by point mutations, it's not as easy as "rigging their genomes". It would take a totalitarian and capable society, and probably decades of horrific experiments to even find out if anything is possible in this regard.
And the other thing is, if you get rid of all the immigrants, you will likely crash the economy. Probably the most realistic situation is to get to zero population growth and then just try to hold off the stagnation as long as possible.

Given that they drain so many more resources than they put in, they are a privatized gain for a few, and a socialized loss for the many, regardless of the consequences with regard to crime. Therefore, could their removal not in fact, unleash a second roaring 20s?
