There are many out there who think that the Christian way is persuasion, not coercion. They thus reject the idea of writing Christian moral teaching into law. It is time to address this concern.

There was a time, perhaps. They were a mix of Christian, Roman and even Germanic law. But our current legal system operates more like a policy manual than any notion of biblical law. Even that you have to be very careful what you mean by that. We often think about it through the lens of modernity and the modern administrative and technical mindset.
