It’s a challenge. The biggest barrier is language. And even though I know they network over there, I don’t know if an English language publication. There is European Conservative, but it tends to be, I think, more mainstream. To be fair, I have not read it a lot.
So, how does one challenge the ever growing civil government? Do we focus on building culture locally while waiting for The State to crumble under its own weight? Personally, I’ve grown weary of my fellow “conservative’s” efforts focus on politics as it seems fruitless when our culture seems to be the real problem. Now, via your writings I’m getting the idea that the political efforts of the right aren’t simply a waste of energy they are part of the problem.
Yes. But we have to understand that both republicans and democrats are part of the same rationalized system. In that sense they are both technocrats fighting over the same system. They are both working within the same system. In this sense all the major American political parties are degrees of liberal. There really isn’t a true conservative movement in the US and American conservatives (who are often just a different variation of liberal) have a hard time connecting with European conservatives who are generally really conservatives.
