Is the "American Dream" Christian?
Jon Harris and I discuss a recent article he wrote about reclaiming the "American Dream" for Zoomers. While a good piece, I wondered if, as Christians, is this the dream we should be pursing?
Premiering shortly on YouTube:
Jon Harris , host of the Conversations that Matter podcast, recently wrote a piece about recovering the so-called “American Dream” for Zoomers:
It was a good piece and his recommendations seemed reasonable. But as a Christians, I wondered if the pursuit of the “American Dream” was a distraction. Is this the goal towards which we as Christians should be aspiring? Or is it a distraction? Perhaps even a form of idolatry? Jon and I have a fruitful discussion on this topic. Much more could be said, but this should hopefully get the discussion going.

The all-American nightmare was based on grand theft of the
lands and resources of the "Indian's", their systematic displacement and genocide.
And on the blood (murder), sweat and tears (soul murder) of the mostly brown skinned slaves.
It was corrected named the Wetiko Psychosis as described here:

That psychosis is still very much "alive"!
