So, that’s the same for many of us who might be called conservative Christian’s. For some reason though, you aren’t coming to the exact same conclusions as everyone else, which what I find fascinating. There is something different about you, your life experiences or who knows what that sets you apart from even the “the whole political left/right paradigm is a dumb” crowd. I sense a much deeper loyalty to God’s Word than others. I don’t know. Maybe that’s it.
Thanks! I appreciate it. I have had a varied set of life experiences. I also have a theological education. It’s best, though to give glory to God, thank him, as he is the source of wisdom, and hope he keeps inspiring me. Thanks again for the encouraging words.
Kruptos, how long have you been consciously considering modern conservativism and Christianity so as to bring forth these thoughts in your substack? It takes time for one too consciously realize they have a worldview, go about changing it, and then have the ability to communicate it as you do.
I have always had a political bent, from my Rush days in the 90’s and early aughts, but I have been watching things change since 2008 and been slowly awakening. Covid really changed me. I started doing a lot of political reading then, trying to integrate it into everything else and I think that is starting to really come together for me.
