The Southern Baptist Convention is right around the corner. It seems like a lot bigger deal these days. I asked William Wolfe, Josh Abbotoy and Chase Davis on to talk about the June 8-11 meeting.
19:30 This is fantastic. Being able to inform local leadership on how best to respond to pressure from our enemies, and how best to put pressure back on them, is paramount. This is what organization looks like.
Our enemies have gained ground by picking their battles where their enemies had no understanding of how to fight back, and frequently weren't able to grasp or articulate that they were being attacked. When our enemies have national coordination, as well as international and federal backing, we at a minimum need a line between our top guys who know this stuff inside-out and the leadership of churches which wish to remain Christian, which includes being loyal to the interests of their congregation, people, and nation to whom they have a Godly duty.
36:20 Ensuring actions taken in response are not hijacked or neutered. Perfect.
Yes, very whitepilling. One thing that they're probably aware of but was just not brought up was the importance of not just playing defense. Women pastors shouldn't even be a legitimate notion let alone topic of discussion. We should be having discussions which question any of the many liberal intrusions into the Church and the lives of the laity, not black-and-white biblical matters.
American politics are enlightenment liberals and thus outside the law. Us was born from rebellion. It must receive discipline. No amount of baptist grace mayonnaise will grease the public square now. The second awakening ended in 1948.
So if you were saved that means you had been rebellious and without instruction from your parents and upbringing. Did your parents finally repent? Were you a phineas or a hophni?
An incredible conversation. Really motivated me to become more active
politically rather than from my phone. As a lifelong Southern Baptist I knew only loosely about these issues. I was stunned at some of the activity you guys talked about.
Baptist = futurist. To displace presbyterian synod structure
